Enjoy Google Assistant a lot better than Gemini AI. Goggle has perfected commands to fit precisely to your needs as well to your own voice. When needing to navigate with hands free, Google fits all application's commands that are necessary, especially when you need to multi-task. Comparing one to the other, do not compare! What is the person's preference as far as user friendly, plus fits everyone's needs. 6.5 rating.

Google = $$$ > usefulness. I've used their AI for 2yrs to look up faith based songs, because the results were consistent as long as you type 'lyric' before the phrase. Now instead of just telling you which song you're after, it'll give you a link for purchase apps like Spotify. I guess it could be a dig at the 95% of that planet that believe in some higher power as it still brings up non-faith lyrics fine.... who knows. Switching my AI though. If it isn't useful, it isn't worth it.

This app has gone downhill so fast, it can only handle the most basic voice commands, and even then sometimes it really has trouble with just basic Google searches. It also doesn't actually DO anything, it constantly requires permissions or some kind of hands-on interaction to do literally anything. need directions? The hands-free option is not hands-free. need to set an alarm or make an event or play music for your morning routine? literally everything needs you to actively be on the phone.
