Features availability:
The HondaLink® app has exciting remote control features like Remote Engine Start, Remote Door Lock/Unlock, and Find My Car. Available for 2018+ Odyssey Touring/Elite, 2018-2022 Accord Touring and 2023+ Accord all trims, 2019+ Insight Touring, 2019+ Pilot Touring/Elite/Black Edition*, 2019+ Passport Touring/Elite*, 2023+ Civic Type R*, 2023+ CR-V Sport Touring Hybrid, and 2023+ Pilot Touring/Elite vehicles. Battery charge monitoring and control is available for Clarity Electric and Plug-in Hybrid vehicles.

*Remote Engine Start is currently not available for 2019-2022 Pilot Touring/Elite/Black Edition, 2019+ Passport Touring/Elite, and 2023+ Civic Type R vehicles.

HondaLink subscription package may be required.

While my new car is great, this app sucks. It's constantly crashing in the background. It tends to happen around when I get in or out of the car. The UI is not great. The biggest annoyance is how it's way too easy to refresh the main page by accident, making you wait until it's done to do anything. The servers powering this app have been down a couple times and I've only used this less than 2 weeks. Finally, the removal of homelink in the car in favor of the myQ subscription is very frustrating.

As of now, sometimes it's hard to get the app to work properly. And my phone says it messes w/ battery because it crashes a lot and wants to delete it... 2020 Really nice. I wish the locator portion worked better. My car alarm went off while at home, and the msg said it was like 10 miles away. Also, trying to use the part to help you find your car in a parking lot doesn't really work. I don't really use those things often. Otherwise, the rest is good.

I don't normally write reviews for apps but holy hell is this one bad. Stay away from this garbage app. Everything that should work for this app doesn't. It has difficulty syncing with my car. The password reset process is infuriating and you'll frequently be stuck in a loop. The app doesn't let you schedule service. It just provides the phone number. The website however does let you schedule online but the app doesn't pass credentials to the site. Everything in the app is worthless.
