About this app

Use the TK-Safe or synchronize e-prescriptions with the e-prescription app. With TK-Ident and your TK-GesundheitsID you can now log in to digital health applications even without a health card - conveniently via smartphone, anytime and anywhere.

SECURITY

You can access sensitive health data, such as your TK-Safe electronic patient file, via the TK-Ident app. This data has a particularly high need for protection and therefore also high security requirements. In order to use the app, secure identification is required. Simply use the online identification function of your ID card or your health card with PIN. We also ask you to repeat this identification at regular intervals.

Our security concept for TK-Ident is based on strict legal requirements. In order to be able to offer you a good and safe customer experience, we are constantly developing our concept.

Ratings and reviews

As clunky as one would expect, given the legislation, but functional. Please add a language option separate from the system language, as the English localisation is, as always in Germany, terrible, and I would much rather use a comprehensible German UI.

Laughable Bad Tends to ask for the PIN at each single step of the authentication process, not just the beginning. Hangs in a never ending loop without proper timeout. Generic error messages that don't provide any info. I know how two factor authentication is supposed to work. This is not it. I don't have any clue how tech iliteraterate people are supposed to work with it Definitely don't want to hear anything more about low acceptance of ePA in Germany if this is it Its a joke

Doesnt work on Graphene OS which is a shame, because that OS is more secure the stock Android and the integrity of the device and firmware can be checked via hardware attestation. Forcing people into a insecure OS is bad practice. Edit: Graphene OS supports the Google Play Store, and verification of the firmware and is therefore as trustworthy as Stock Android. which is evident by the existence of other Apps like the official "AusweisApp" on the OS.
