I've used this app for some time and have generally had no issues. However the reason for my low rating is because of a problem streaming from my wifi. At the end of an advertisement, streaming freezes. I have to then restart streaming by tapping the play/pause button several times. Once the next ad ends, streaming freezes again, so on and so forth through all ads. It makes trying to watch a program tedious for sure. I hope you come up with a fix soon or some tips to help. Thanks!

The Cox Contour app sucks. It hangs or pauses constantly. Like other have said, you have to pause then restart. I use this primarily on my Samsung tablet. Can't even watch sports as most of it is missed for this reason. The odd thing is Netflix, Amazon Prime, Tubi, YouTube, and Discovery all play just fine. They keep telling me it's my connection. Sure, that's why everything else works as advertised. Thank you to Cox for an expensive service that works terribly, much appreciated!

For all those who keep saying it's pointless to use at home... not all rooms in my house have cable (older home). So I use it on a tablet oriented landscape on a stand which makes for a mini TV in rooms without cable. But as far as the app, yeah it's slow to load. Even on a modern device with WiFi 5 (ac) @ 300+ mb/s on a 1 Gbp/s LAN. It's not my connection, it has to load the channel list/guide at startup and everytime you want to change the channel, which makes it kinda frustrating to use.

Mark, may we know your zip code? It sounds like an issue with local network (not your home).
