I am unable to change the device type. I can tap on the available options, but nothing happens—there’s no confirmation or response. For instance, I am trying to reassign my Govee hygrometer from the default 'Light' category to 'Miscellaneous,' but it won’t update. Everything else in the app seems to work fine, but this specific feature is not responding.

The app has helped me to some degree, but I am still learning about how to use it. It has been most helpful in restarting the gateway, as Wifi is not working well for my phone, and sometimes for my husband's laptop. June 2025/ I am adding a star, as it has worked better for me in the past 2 years. Perhaps because I am using my phone more for Internet instead of my computer. Also using ROKU for TV, which has been great! Thank you COX for making life a little more enjoyable.

UPDATE FROM 1 star in 2022. HERE'S how it's going in 2025. Internet bill is very expensive($150).It's their best speed,it's slow,glitchy,gaming,streaming, is a waste, and it's horrible. I've changed the box 5x in 1 yr. I have cameras they work fine as long as the WIFi works correctly, which isn't often. Cox, I hate to say this,but I can't switch because you're the better suckier company of the other options. I've tried what a shame to say. For the price it should be way better
