The app is fine, helpful even, but Snapshot sucks. You're required to allow it constant access & it drains the battery. Turning it off doesn't help bc it'll turn itself back on even if the phone hasn't moved at all. The driving records are inaccurate, too. Some are logged, some are not. If you use hand-free through Bluetooth, it'll log it as if you're using the device. It has logged my trips as if I'm riding on a bus/bicycle & if you hit a pothole it activates hard braking. It's not worth the $.

This app is extremely simple and does everything you would want an insurance app to do. However, it deserves only one star at best because unless you update it every single time, it is unusable. Not because it crashes or anything, but because it is software locked until you update. Say you need to access something that would require little to no data, and say you have little to no service, can't be done if you aren't running the latest version.

So I get an email about how much money is due for my monthly, and I go to the app to pay that amount. The amount the app says is *lower* than what the email says is due, so I pay that instead, thinking there was an error in billing. Next day, I get an email saying that my policy is set for cancellation because I still need to pay the balance between what the app showed me and what the email showed me. WHY DIDN'T YOU JUST SHOW THE COMPLETE BALANCE ON THE APP, THEN??
