After just my first time using the square app and card reader, my account was deactivated and all of my funds are unavailable to me for almost 4 months. I wasn't given a chance to appeal and after calling the company they can't even tell me why this was happening. The only "solution" they gave me was to refund payments to the original sender, which doesn't help me at all. I highly encourage everyone to search for a different option for their business.

Would be great if it wasn't for so many bugs. Switched my business to square and I've regret it since. You can't create new clients at all, it forces you to import them from contacts which doesn't work half the time, and trying to create a customer in the app just gives error codes. Often invoices won't load or send, and the custom items rarely show up as theyre supposed to. Due to bugs it often takes hours to write an invoice with a paragraph in it

RETAILERS BEWARE!!!!! DO NOT purchase the square point of sale system if you have over 50 items in your store. It does not perform basic retail tasks like Quickbooks. And if you need help they charge you for it after you just paid over $2000 for their system and you have to pay them monthly. It's a joke. The amount of hours we have put into this system and the inventory is still messing up for no reason at all. Stick with Quickbooks.

We update our apps regularly to make sure they’re at 100%, so we suggest turning on automatic updates on devices running Square Point of Sale.
