Introducing myCOMPASS PA, for Pennsylvanians who have applied for or get health and human service programs or benefits. It offers many of the same features found on COMPASS, but right from your phone. You can now access your benefits from anywhere, whenever you want.

The best part? You can take care of business while you’re on-the-go. Tasks that used to involve a trip to the county assistance office can be accomplished with only a few minutes on the app. Whether you want to know the status of your application or send us a photo of required documents, you’re always just a few taps away.

Since recent update, logging in has become impossible. I keep getting messages that I have no connection despite having strong cellular signal that interrupt and restart the process of changing my password, making it impossible to log in and complete forms to continue my benefits. I can only assume this is intentional bad design to frustrate users to the point where they give up attempting to try updating their information to continue their benefits.

It won't download a letter in my messages. It keeps saying the app is unavailable right now. I uninstalled and reinstalled. Same.problem. I called the helpline and it was busy both times. The app and the helpline are supposed to be available 24-7. The glitches are creating a need for a visit to the county office and a time consuming, old-fashioned, in accessible for many, process, defeating the purpose of the technology.

This app has given me issues since I first downloaded it in 2021. Basically it works when it wants to. Now it's totally down asking for an update and it won't update at all. I tried giving this app a chance, but I am done with this. I'm just gonna delete and do things the old fashioned way, call the card number and get the info I need. That way never fails me. Good ridence!!!!
