Not only do you have to sign in over and over and it doesn't use biometric access, but you can't even make a claim. The 'drop down' for selecting a service type in the claims process is completely blank so you can't actually progress. Absolutely useless. You are better off carrying your physical Bupa card because it is quicker to show than going through the rigmarole of multifactor authentication as well as setting a new PIN each and everytime you try to open the app so you can present your card

The point of setting up a pin to use later is exactly that. bupa, sort it out. you have no issues charging everyone their premiums on time. but have issues working out a simply bug when logging in? why do I need to go through the setup EVERY TIME I open the app. Starting to see the link there actually. making it difficult to take advantage of your membership benefits, or using your digital card to claim back your health services... what am I paying you for? where is

Every time you launch the app, it makes you sign in, provide an SMS verification code, then set up a PIN and biometrics login. Need to use the app again the next day? You might think that you can use your PIN or biometrics to login quickly, but no! MyBupa makes you go through the entire set up all over again. Extremely inconvenient to use when you need it, and Bupa makes it more difficult to order a physical card to push us to use this broken app instead.
