This app gives you online access to services provided by the Government of British Columbia. It's digital ID that makes it safe, quick and easy to log in.

I have to reinstall and reverify multiple times a month due to the app refusing to open. Sometimes I will get an error message saying it isn't properly installed while waiting for my account to reverify making the whole process an ordeal. I don't believe it's an issue with my devices either, the same issue rises when logging in on my old and new devices. The folks at the help desk aren't sure what the problem is either (no fault of their own) which means they don't really know how to help.

The cameras would not work with my phone so I had to keep closing and opening the app. For one of the verifications I could get the photo and the video would prompt but no recording would happen. I finally just did the video call but even that took a bit to get the photo taken before the call. The call didn't take too long and the process was easy.

I found the install process a bit clunky. I got what I needed and used the app from my laptop immediately. It's easy to use. I'll never use my phone and that leads to a problem. It appears access to the service is not available to someone that doesn't have a cellphone data plan. Hard to believe but many cellphone users have basic service without data plans. A simplified access choice using a PC or laptop would be useful.
