rideTO is a free, calm transit companion for Toronto. See what's happening on the TTC right now - service alerts, subway and streetcar status, and live
arrival times for the stops you actually use.
WHAT YOU GET
• Live service alerts - disruptions, delays, detours and elevator outages,
updated continuously from official TTC feeds
• Notifications you control - pick the routes, stations and closure lines you
want to hear about, set quiet hours and commute windows, and rideTO stays silent the rest of the time
• Subway & LRT status at a glance - all lines, one screen
• Live arrival times - save your stops and see real-time ETAs for buses,
streetcars and subways
• Nearby stops - find stops around you on a map, with live arrivals
• Your commute - save it once, and rideTO tells you when a disruption
actually affects it
• Route pages - search any TTC route and follow its alerts and arrivals
• Scheduled closures - know about planned subway work before you leave
• Works offline - your saved stops and the latest data stay available
underground or without signal
• Bilingual - full English and French interfaces
• Accessible - designed and tested for screen readers and large text
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No account. No sign-up. No ads. Your saved stops, routes and commutes stay on your device. Location is used only when you look for nearby stops and never leaves your phone. If you turn on notifications, only the routes and stations you picked are used to send them. Anonymous crash reports keep the app reliable - nothing you search or save is ever included.
rideTO is young and improving quickly - if something looks off, the in-app
feedback form goes straight to the developer, and it gets read.
Built in Toronto, for Toronto riders. rideTO is an independent app and is not
affiliated with or endorsed by the Toronto Transit Commission.
