Ratings and reviews

Great service at a fair price. What's really great about this app is that it offers multi hop capabilities through their secure core based in multiple privacy friendly countries. For some reason, that's a rare, but critical feature for privacy. No other major provider offers that, not even Nord. Breaking through 1 VPN, possible and not hard for some. Breaking through 3 of them? Good luck. Better pack a lunch and be ready for a lot of delivery. Up to 10 devices, run a VM and run the VPN in VM.

VPN works. I'm giving 3 stars because back then it used to let you pick which free server to use if you used the free version. Now it picks a random server for you and if it's not the one you want, too bad you're gonna have to wait 20 minutes. Sometimes it will pick the same country 3 times in a row! It's a shame because I actually really liked this app. But this unnecessary change really annoys me and is making me consider switching services. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I'm not sure if it was an Android update or if there was a Proton VPN update that snuck past me, but I'm getting connection now. Speed is noticeably slower than before when connected in the US, but I assume that's because of the Orwellian BS going on in the UK increasing usage by our friends from across the pond. in any event, VPN is working again.
