After installing the app, I decided to go to "My Account." This next step seemed really bizarre to me. I was already logged in but then after tapping the Account icon, I had to sign in again. Once there, all of my information was correct except one item was missing: Emergency Contact. I provided the info, and fortunately, after 24 hours, the info is still there.

This is NOT an app. It is simply a pointer to the website. My upcoming trips do not appear anywhere. When I go to the Account menu, trips are not an option, and the other options take me to the Alaska Airlines website. This is a slow process. Now, the Alaska app doesn't bring up my account or trips, either. I'm pretty disappointed, as I have found the Alaska Airlines app to be very user friendly, fast and efficient. No longer the case.

Warning before you sign up. Individual only. If you have a family/household you head, you must sign up for an account for each person. That means you have to keep track of several rewards numbers, accounts, passwords etc. The points only go to the flyer, not the person who bought the tickets. Accumulation is slow because of this. Not worth it. They need a household option and the points need to go to the payer.
