I like the card but the app takes forever to show transactions and that does not help with the companies I buy from, especially when it's an airline, I have not received notification of my flights and that's not helpful after 24 hours, do I have a ticket or not? Well, Amex isn't helping and to complete it all, my Avios disappeared from my app but never appeared on my BA account, not good at all, not sure what's going on but right now I feel like not using this credit card again 😕

While I have enjoyed the benefits of the Amex card, I have found the app to be unreliable. I set up the direct debit in the app to clear my monthly balance, only to find that it had not been set up and then customer service informed me that it was my responsibility to check whether the direct debit is set up properly independent of the what the app tells me, i.e. I should have called them. I cannot recommend using the app if you have to call Amex anyway to check if the app worked or not.

The card itself isn't the worst out of x4 I've got. Applied, received, set up, started spending and many places don't accept it... NVR mind, BUT TXT CODE login, AFTER biometric (fingerprint) validation makes it embarrassing to use. Waiting for one more transaction to be cleared, so I could settle it and I'll be canceling the card and DELETING this garbage app obviously. EDIT: account (Credit Card) Closed, got to wait for confirmation letter, App will be deleted then
