App is great when it works. It won't let me sign in. I've uninstalled and reinstalled and rebooted my phone. Tried it on another phone, same issue. Either pressing the login button does absolutely nothing or I get an error that says they are have problems logging me in. I'm trying to book a trip and give you money and the app just won't work. Frustrating and hard to understand. Glad I'm not on a trip and needing to use the app! Just tried it on an iPad and it works just fine. Nice.

easy to use for the most part. if it gets wonky maybe sign out/ re-login, or even uninstall/reinstall, it should resolve. main gripe is that their train updates & notifications (ex. boarding) gets sent wayyyy too late. ex. already on train and moving to next stop when I get the boarding text/notifications -- not helpful!!

Not really sure where to post a complaint about this, but Amtrak baits and switches all the time. Even in the same session, no refresh, no exiting and re-entering the app, when I'm on the checkout screen and put in all my information, the app says the fares have expired and gives me a higher rate. This is incredibly scummy behavior and no wonder people don't take trains in the US. Any other transportation agency at least has the decency to hold your rate when you're about to check out. 0/10.
