Daily Strength is a gym workout planner and workout tracker that makes it easy to log your weight lifting workouts. Create your own gym workout plans and routines by selecting from a list of exercises such as bench press, barbell squat, deadlift, and a variety of dumbbell, barbell and olympic exercises. The workout tracker also contains built in gym workout plans that you can easily get started on. Some workout schedules included are Stronglifts, 5x5, Madcow, Push Pull Legs (PPL), Starting Strength and much more. Training with weights has never been easier with this workout journal and workout log.

When you create your gym workout plans and log your weight lifting workouts, the workout planner will help you visualize your progress. You can view one rep max charts of the major compound exercises like bench press, barbell squat, and deadlift.

First, It's great how it allows you to use the app before paying, which gives me incentive to pay later if I want to. Second, I adore the optional subscription where it allows you to pay once to unlock all workout plans, and if you want to use coach, there's a trial for the sub. Now the cons: I don't like how a lot of the workouts are mainly machine based. When I try to do a swap out a exercise for one that doesn't require a machine, half the time I can't find one and some workouts are outdated.

Very good app with good examples with videos. The videos in addition to the description of each exercise are very helpful (more like a must-have). Hundreds of exercises the can be used to tailor a plan to meet specific goals for individual muscle groups. Quite a few premade plans are offered, but I created my own. It would be nice if the app automatically synced between my Android devices instead of a manual backup & restore. Be careful to hit Finish and the ✔️ to close out the workout.

I love Daily Strength and I've been using it for years. It has made it so easy to build and track my workouts. The calendar view provides me with motivation as I watch dates fill up with dots for each workout. This recent update just made me so happy when it asked me if I wanted to update my workout with the exercise substitutions I made, allowing me to pick and choose. It's a feature I've wanted for a while and was executed perfectly!
