I prefer the old version than the update. Old version is easy to use and faster. After updating, the mobile money transfer is not working. Safe beneficiary - I save a beneficiary for GCB account and it appears at the ecobank account section, Mobile money transfer - Kindly asking ecobank not to charge when I send money from my account to any MTN mobile money number. Ecobank do something I think you can do better than this new update which is not better than the old one. For these reasons I'm giving you 3 stars for now. Thanks.
Regrets. Ever since I tried using the mobile banking app,this happened to be the worst. The platform always locks me out. Ask for charges. I have laid complaints at the banking hall customer care and even called the online call center yet no solution. Can't even use my card for online transactions like Pos and online transfer cos I was locked out by d app.
Earlier I couldn't use my app because I uninstalled it then I had a live chat with customer care - Mr. Isaac. Now am back! I can't say how happy I am. Those few hours was as if I've totally lost it. The upgrade is superb, Real people are there to answer you if u are patient. Thank you! Am so excited. EVERY ONE SHOULD USE THIS APP!!
Dear Ecobank, this is the most inconvenient and frustrating mobile banking app I've used in a while. A total waste of my download data and storage space to say the least. I am fuming. Your customer care don't help much either. I should probably stop banking with y'all as I can't stand the ineptitude any further.
The fund transfer feature can be better. The save beneficiary feature is not working. There should be a module or menu to see saved beneficiaries and transact from there, which is currently not the case. The bank name is not even saved if you succeed in locating saved beneficiary. It should also be possible to view statements in the app without giving email address. For these reasons I'm giving 3 stars
Regret Infact i regret the update i did to this app. Imagine the huge data 72mb + is huge. Yet i tried several times to activate no way. after sending code to my phone it keeps saying Invalid activation key. Something that was generated by your system. Imagine, the update doesn't even have good background. infact i regret the update. I had to uninstall and start all over again. same story till now .by this update the app has become trash. If ever i succeed no more update. Pls guys be careful about updates on this app
