This app is unwatchable. Buffers forever, even with 200 Mb down. Constantly getting a licensing error, but it works sometimes if I switch episodes. So it is not really a licensing error. The time Warner app was much better. Should never have switched to AT&T.
Constantly freezing, mornings are the worse, constant "Unfortunately AT&T U-Verse has stopped" It gets extremely annoying and you begin hating this app.
Was a great app! Before the guide had all the channels I recieve, now there are many missing. Can still change the TV to a different channel. Also has a remote ... the remote (before update) could change volume. I used that a lot before they took that option off. 😞 However now you can only change the channel. Would be nice if it could turn on and off. Maybe asking too much!!
All buffering and connection issues aside, this app has deeper issues in that the compression used to stream content results in choppyness when object are moving at higher than a medium pace. Sometimes I can't watch because start getting a headache from it. Picture is great (when not choppy), and the sound is good.
It's nice to see that the current description mentions the app's incompatibility with rooted devices. What this means is that most channel live streams and possibly other content will produce a QP1507 error (device not secure) and can't be viewed. Mysteriously, some live content is still viewable and what is viewable is high quality video. This limitation is a real failure for we rooted users of what would otherwise be a pretty decent app. 😣
Routinely takes forever to load. Frequently won't connect ("service tempoarily unavailable"). Force stops, phone reboots, switching routers or from router to cellular doesn't help. AT&T, a com-tech company can producing a garbage app like this just shows they don't give a crap about their customers as long as they get their dollars.
