The streaming service itself is great, but this app is a steaming pile of junk. I ALWAYS have issues using it with my Google TV and Chromecast with Google TV. It HAS to be intentionally crippled, the Roku app works perfectly. Or maybe their Android devs are just terrible. The latest update worked for a day or two, but the app is back to being terrible.

Simply doesn't work with Chromecast. It'll connect at the beginning of the show, but then freezes indefinitely when it automatically tries to jump to live (or wherever you were in your program). Sometimes, it'll die with a "glitch" error, but most of the time your Chromecast will require a reboot to function again. This only happens with Directv's app. No issues with any other apps. EDIT: Your response is irrelevant. My version is 1.56.281627.

Trying to watch programs and tells me that the local data is turned off and need to turn it on to watch shows. Takes you to settings and there is nothing related to their supposed issue to stream to be found. Just a really poor APP that is not user friendly or really able to be used at all. Very disappointed that I can't use the service I pay for.
