About this app

BankID Security App is part of Mobile BankID - an electronic personal identification system for mobile phones and pads used by various service providers.

Mobile BankID is issued by Danske Bank, Handelsbanken, ICA Banken, Länsförsäkringar, Nordea, SEB, Skandia, Sparbanken Syd, Swedbank and Ålandsbanken.

I recently bought a new phone which is a newly released expensive android phone. I've tried many times to add New BankID from my old phone onto the new phone BankID app following my bank's instructions. Unfortunately it always gets stuck after I scan the QR code, keeps loading, and says "Please wait....". Could you please solve this problem soon? When will be the next update available?

The most essential Swedish app, now "proudly" plagued by discrimination. You can not renew or create Bank ID any longer unless you have Swedish Passport or National ID card. They purposefully made it impossible to use Skatteverket issued ID card or driver license.

Immoral company and developers. Learn to code, instead of forcing people to buy a new phone to continue using your poorly developed product. Also let people know to just go to the bank to set bank id up to skip letting the app scan a passport.
