The contactless payment feature is rubbish. Why can't you just support native Android Pay instead of this hybrid nonsense, making me root around in the settings every time I want to pay for something? Missed the mark
Useless. Used to work fine but recent upgrade refused to work insisting my phone was rooted, which it is not! Very worrying that the developers are so bad that they cannot detect rooted correctly. I am cancelling my Barclaycard I've for 35 years and moving to a more tech. savvy provider.
Contacted payment hopeless having to log in frequently to keep the contactless payment feature working.This can be a pain when there isn't good phone reception in rural areas e.g. my local Co op store. The other functions are okay and useful for.checking my balance.
After the recent update can't log on unless I give information of my card, phone number ? Why is this. I haven't bothered as it seems like a scam and if it isn't why do you need so much personal info. Not using this app no more.
Update: thank you for finally fixing the app for Android 7.1.1 (Moto Z)! I loved this app on my iPhone and I checked its availability and reviews on Play Store before I decided to go ahead with switching to Android on the new Moto X. The app works on Android just as great as on iOS. Couldn't be happier I agree with another review that the commercial account sucks big time, but I understand this is not the primary purpose of the app but rather a bonus. It would be nice to see this fixed.
It's good but needs improvement. Statement preference update option never work. No alerts on app icon corner like other social apps. I opted for paperless and missed alerts for very little amount and I ended up with bad credit rating first time in my life. Regretting giving a chance to Barclays. I feel let down.
