* Manage your credit limit

Before you get started

To maintain your privacy and security, this app isn’t available on rooted devices. Instead you can access your account on your mobile by going online to barclaycard.mobi. Please note that the app doesn't support Intel processors.

To use the Barclaycard App you’ll need a UK mobile number to register.

If you’ve got a Barclays current account you’ll also be able to view and manage this account using the Barclaycard app.

Ratings and reviews

Every so often, maybe every 6-12 months, the app reverts to a state as if it had just been installed. Having to follow the setup procedure again is annoying, but typically it doesn't work at all and you have to jump through hoops like clearing stored data or uninstalling and reinstalling before you can continue. When it is working, it is just your standard banking app with no fancy features. Not bad, but probably no better than any other bank.

Forced to switch to paper statement just by logging into the app, missing details and a terrible call answering system to try to get to a real person to fix issues. Avoid if you can. They claim you can edit under the settings. No you can't as that was why I was then trying to use the utterly awful phone system. Impossible to speak to an actual person to be able to sort anything out. Terrible app, complete lack of any customer service or support.

Just downloaded the app, so obviously it's the latest version. I'm trying to set it up with my details, got as far as "we're sending you a code in a text" and then got an error message saying "the service has been updated and I need to update the app!!! App just shut down after that. Reading the one star reviews it sounds like the app just pure useless on many fronts. Maybe Barclays can't afford to have the app fixed lol. Let's watch this space, miracles do happen. Edit: everything is upto date
