I used it for several months, just with the free version. There is a lot you get for free (try the breath bubble) but to go on the multiple programs, most require the paid subscription. So I treated myself to a yearly subscription and I am glad I did. I'd had minimal meditation experience prior to this app. I did some deep breathing exercises but this app really opened my mind (ha!) as to how helpful meditation can be. The instructor has a very pleasant voice and the sessions are not too long. I recently offered to buy a full subscription for my daughter, that is how much I like it.
I THINK THAT THIS IS THE DEEPEST,MOST HONEST, DOWN TO EARTH APP THAT I HAVE EVER HAD THE PRIVILAGE TO FIND!!! I can't begin to express how much I love this app. Initially I started meditating because I just wanted to focus more, but after a month of using Calm I can already see how it has affected so many other aspects of my life. Not externally, but internally. I've dealt with pretty bad anxiety and anger issues in my life, but from doing the daily meditations in Calm my emotions are no longer so hard to control. I don't get caught up in them the way I used to and don't stress as much as I've always done before. It's honestly amazing. Seriously, if you're willing to put in the time daily to commit to the meditations you will reap some amazing rewards. I also love the bedtime stories. I've often had trouble falling asleep throughout my life but since starting the meditations and listening to one of the bedtime stories each night I tend to fall asleep within 5 or 10 minutes (sometimes even less than 5 minutes, which is incredible for me). Could not recommend this app highly enough 👏👏👏👏
I have been using this app for 3 years now. I love it but really disappointed that everything turn into subscription and expensive ones... It use to be free back in the days... this has helped me.a lot, I shouldnt be paying so much for my mental wellbeing really...
I have the annual subscription and the variety of content is great. The guided meditations have different lengths to fit your schedule, and I am a big fan of the sleep stories.
I just downloaded this app and never mediated before and i wanted to give it a go and it relaxed me so much i didn't expect this, the nature sounds are amazing during a normal mediation i almost fell asleep even because i was was relaxed, this app is really great i will keep doing this everyday
