I cannot log in to this stupid app because it keeps saying log in with the first email address used when first connected to XFINITY home. Which I am but to no avail. You guys suck so hard right now.
Camera connection is horrible! Very slow at times to connect to cameras, even when connected to home wifi. Randomly it takes a min or more to connect to a camera (only have 2), only connects to one but not the other or at times doesn't connect to either camera. I have a standalone 720p HD IP camera on the same wifi & never have these issues. Always connects & at most takes 3-4 seconds. Very unhappy with this system & don't recommend it to anyone. Better off buying the #1 rated IP camera from Amazon as it's much more reliable & has sound
Useless Apparently "loads much faster" translates to "won't load at all". Camera connection is terrible, and 9 times out of 10 the cameras fail to connect. What's the purpose of this app if it's not going to work?
Frustrated with app Recently, I have been having problems logging into the app. Everytime I try to log in it keeps asking me for the email address that I used when I first got the service. I never used an email the very first time I started using the service. I have changed my password, I have tried different emails, and I have uninstalled and re installed the app and nothing works. This is very annoying.
This is my second posting regarding Comcast Xfinity Home. Just to be fair the cable and internet product are great, however: I had an external camera to view my front door and within a week my camera was stolen and I didn't even get a text message! My system was breached and I didn't get any notification. Why should I trust them with my property or even more importantly my life if they cant tell me when my system gets compromised? Oh and ask Comcast to disconnect the Ecosaver program that is part of their thermostat control. I dare you to! They can't! I have requested it be turned off 5 times and it still is running my AC and thinks it knows better than me what temperature I want my thermostat set to. I am counting the days when I can get a real security company and then run my AC with a NEST thermostat I control. Also in trying to unsuccessfully disconnect my Ecosaver software/control they replaced my thermostat (3rd thermostat in 1 year). The guy that did the job didn't connect it properly and it only blew hot air out of the vents. I got so frustrated I ended up going on You Tube and got the proper connections and reconnected it myself. It worked fine but still have Ecosavr
