One Tap Away enables cashless operation of laundromat machines in common laundry rooms across the United States. It also offers a marketplace for specially negotiated related products with deep discounts and other benefits for laundry users.

Mgmt decided to switch over to this system for the laundry room. The app is so buggy that I'm barely able to log in and I've tried numerous times to add funds to my account but I'm constantly getting either the loading icon (which freezes me out) or an error message saying "something went wrong on [their] end".

To add time to the dryer, you can only do 5 minutes at a time and you have to go through the entire scan process to even get the option. The usability is atrocious, CSC app would let me just type the number and immediately let me start. Oddly enough, they did fix the problem where the only way to tell which machines are available is to head to the laundry room, which is a very welcome improvement.

Apartment just switched to this app, which for some reason requires location services and does not just use Bluetooth to connect to the machine I just scanned. As a result it was unable to find any machines within the entire complex, despite the old app being able to immediately connect via the qr code and Bluetooth. I can only assume the reason for locations services is to use dynamic pricing and allow price fixing by comparing with nearby complexes. This sucks and doesn't even work.
