About this app

The Dexcom Follow app is part of the Dexcom SHARE® system.

Use this app if your loved one is sharing data from their Dexcom CGM app. The Sharer will need to send an invitation to allow you to connect after you have installed the Follow app.

Dexcom Follow is the perfect companion to your loved one’s Dexcom CGM, connecting you to those nearest and dearest to you, even when they’re far away. Through secure wireless connections, Dexcom Follow allows you to view and follow the glucose levels, trends and data of your loved ones.

Whether you have a child who is in college, an elderly parent who lives in another state, or a spouse who is going on a business trip, Dexcom Follow is there to keep you connected and informed.

With Dexcom Follow, you can:
• Monitor your loved one’s glucose activity at school or across the country.
• Receive glucose information from up to 10 different Sharers – children, friends, or other loved ones.
• Respond quickly with the help of customizable glucose alerts and push notifications that can inform you when a Sharer’s glucose levels are outside the norm.

Important tool that gives me the ability to monitor & help my wife when needed. I understand this App is a general tool to assist me in monitoring the direction & range over a specified period of time. It would really be great to have some additional sounds for the different alert categories. The option to add your own sounds into the selection menu would be awesome.

Not compatible. Got a Samsung Z Fold, and the app worked for a while, but then I started getting notices the the app kept closing. Never thought about the compatibility when I got my last 2 phones. Sooner or later your technology caught up to my S21, hopefully it won't take long for the Z Fold to be compatible. Would change my rating to 5 when that happens.

Dexcom. Y'all had been good to work with until recently. An update you rolled out is now keeping me from getting more frequent alerts when my husband's blood sugar goes below 70. The most frequent interval I'm allowed to have a repeat alarm is every 30 minutes. This is NOT frequent enough. Previously it allowed alerts to be set every 5 or 10 minutes. This literally saved my husband's life in the past because he has middle of the night lows. Please change this back immediately!
