Ratings and reviews

the sensor and the app work well. the numbers are higher than a normal stick and test, but consistently so. patterns are representative of your actual fluctuations. problem is the equipment. the sensor is not attached securely for long enough. the lame cover decal they supply is less secure and usually pulls the sensor out prematurely. so, one ends up going thru EXPENSIVE sensors at an alarming rate as you can't reattach and they don't stay on for more than a few days. I think it's on purpose.

Alerts and control are a problem. When an alert goes off, whatever you are listening to will go full volume with the music and then stop the music you were listening to. This hurts my ears, annoys people around me and then I have to reset my music. PLUS, we can bolus from the app with a password but we don't have the ability to clear an alert. Most of the time, if I'm going to Mobile bolus, the pump is tucked away where I can't get to it easily but I have to so I can stop those alert problems

Doesn't work with pixel 9 pro. Edit: dexcom did indeed release the app for the pixel 9 and they did manage to do it in a fairly reasonable time frame. I do think their development team should make sure it works on more Android devices than it does. Despite the fact that the app is constantly running in the background if you lose your data connection it seems to glitch saying that it needs data "check your phone's compatibility". Okay dexcom, if you say so.
