About this app

Network companion is a carrier application, owned and developed by DISH Wireless, that includes features for device diagnostics, remote troubleshooting and automated testing. Part of the testing suite is the remote triggering of different call cases such as SMS, MMS, Voice, Data and Web that can be initiated on a device to a) troubleshoot a specific device, b) assist DISH in building out our nationwide 5G network with the user's consent.

The app helps DISH Wireless provide the best possible experience for our customers on any of our brands (Boost Mobile and Project Genesis). It helps us monitor network performance, collect data for product improvement, and gives us a tool to remotely support you, as a customer, if you have any issues with your device. To help you help us collect network performance data, the app features a Speed test function.

Ratings and reviews

The issue seems to be the app. It's broken. It no longer recognizes contact list data. The bluetooth feature in my vehicle no longer gets details from the smartphone when reporting incoming calls & texts. It's no longer properly integrates or uses stored data as it originally did. Some portion of the user end interface is damaged after the last 2 "updates." Check the UI code for damage. This is basic stuff people. Can this be removed without creating network issues on my device & sevice?

This was Installed on my phone without my knowledge. Only found due to other phone protection apps. As others have said, text messages and phone calls do not come through half the time both incoming and outgoing, verification by mobile network records of both parties. Top it off with this app wanting a lot of permissions and full time monitor abilities. Thanks but no thanks.

This app has slowed my phone down, can't access voicemail & runs my battery down. It's dumb & inconvenient; wish I could uninstall, but I can't. Never had an issue with Boost but now I see why I am having all these problems....due to this app. And, my phone doesn't connect well with my bluetooth or when plugged into my car! Take it away Boost.
