Messenger not working right, now (broken by update?) When I run it the screen goes half dark and nothing works when pressed on a screen. But messenger works just fine on my laptop. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app and deleted the cash and data several times and reinstalled and log back in and it did not fix anything. So I believe this is a bug in the app. Thankfully reading another user's review I learned that you have to hit the back button on your screen to get access.

Hello, I am writing to report two issues with the reaction emoji feature. First, the reaction emoji is randomly activating after I send a message, even though no one is pressing it. This issue is causing confusion and disruption in our communication. Second, the feature that allowed us to click on a message and be taken to the top of all missed messages has been removed. This feature was very useful for quickly catching up on missed conversations. I kindly request that these issues be addressed

For the last 12 or so years, I would have given Messenger 4 or 5 stars. But it seems that recently, (last whole year.) Some of the features are not working right. If you share a video post to someone from FB news feed to a contact in messenger. The thumbnail has a gray tap to see post, and the link isn't working. So it's about a 50/50 success rate of the sent content actually going to the person you are sending it to. Same success rate when using the share then messenger option on gallery.
