"Something went wrong" So messenger was working ok on my note 7 until an update last night.. now it keeps saying something went wrong and it is a pain to send or receive messages! Why cant we get it to run smooth for more than a day or two?
Only using it because I have to So, terrible you can't see what you're typing in landscape. Drop the keyboard, can't press and hold to highlight, all it does is bring up the keyboard. Same for pasting. Have to enter portrait mode to do any of that. Send an image is a garbage image roll. I don't want to scroll 1,000 images, just open my gallery where things are organised. Too big, slows down the phone, and too many more negative points to post (out of characters for review).
Latest update :/ It now says most of the time cannot connect or connecting on messenger. I thought it was my wifi but if i back out and go into any other wifi required app it loads perfectly. Other than that it wont work whatsoever
Creators should be ashamed. Another update for what?! There is too many bugs and it's barely usable. One i get most is a force minimize of the app, even while typing at times. The more and more I use this app, it gets worse and worse with every update.. another update and not one thing fixed.. Just a stupid emoji pack to quell the sheep. copy/paste function is shameful if it works. Full of app breaking bugs that hinders if not ruins the experience. Facebook and messenger are power hungry resource hogs, what nightmares...
Ruined for me again!! Was sooo excited when the ability to combine sms with messenger was added back. However the last update ruined it again! No longer have the ability to share a pic from camera or screenshot to sms. Inability to select and copy txt in sms is annoying.
Lastest update broken Latest update broke the app. Takes forever to load on 4g, often giving a totally white or black screen before locking up for 2-3mins before loading convos. Uses far too many resources for such low functionality. Does not sync w messenger on PC. Delivers messages out of order sometimes.
Now you can see your call history and missed calls—all in one place.
