FeuerDex makes the legally required inspection of your fire extinguishers according to ASR A2.2, DIN 14406-4, and the German Ordinance on Industrial Safety and Health (BetrSichV) as easy as using a checklist on your phone—documented in a legally admissible manner, for each extinguisher.
WHY FEUERDEX?
Employers and operators are required to provide and maintain fire extinguishers: visual inspections at appropriate intervals, maintenance by a qualified expert at least every two years (DIN 14406-4), in addition to the pressure vessel inspection intervals stipulated by the BetrSichV. In the event of a fire, the fire department, insurance company, and employers' liability insurance association will request proof of inspection—for each extinguisher.
• Document the inspection of each fire extinguisher—12-point checklist according to ASR A2.2 / DIN 14406-4 (location & accessibility, mounting, signage, seal, pressure gauge, container, hose, inspection sticker, pressure test intervals, etc.) with GPS stamp and photographic evidence.
``` • Two types of inspection – visual inspection by the operator and expert inspection, with the inspection due date for each extinguisher automatically displayed (90 days / 2 years).
• Defects indicated by a traffic light system – Green (monitor), Orange (take out of service, have it repaired, provide a replacement), Red (remove and replace) including "Out of Service" and an additional repair note.
• Fire extinguisher inventory per location – extinguishing agent (powder ABC/BC/D, foam, water, CO₂, grease fire F), design (rechargeable/permanent pressure), year of manufacture, fill quantity, extinguishing agent units, reference photo.
• PDF inspection report – per location and period, with legal basis (DE/AT/CH), traffic light legend, defect list, and photo appendix. For sharing with management, clients, insurance companies, or authorities.
• Chain of evidence – inspections are permanent (append-only): no editing, no deletion, only cancellation with justification.
• Team – Connect employees via invitation code; managed by the owner.
• Cloud Sync – Securely stored in the EU cloud, GDPR-compliant account deletion within the app.
