About this app

ToreDex transforms the legally required inspection of power-operated gates and doors according to the German Ordinance on Industrial Safety and Health (BetrSichV), ASR A1.7, and DGUV Information 208-022 into a 60-second mobile workflow – ideal for property management companies, facility managers, industrial companies, logistics providers, construction yards, and gate service companies.

Operators must operate power-operated gates safely: regular visual inspections by the operator and at least annual inspections by a qualified expert (authorized person) – before initial commissioning, after significant modifications, and then periodically thereafter. In the event of damage, the employers' liability insurance association, insurance company, and authorities will require proof of these inspections – for each gate. ToreDex delivers exactly that:

• Document each gate inspection – 12-point checklist according to ASR A1.7 / DGUV I 208-022 (identification & type plate, closing edge protection, light barrier/light curtain, force limitation, fall protection/catch device, springs & cables, guide rails & rollers, emergency release, pinch & shear points, wicket door, electrical equipment, gate leaf & functional operation) with GPS stamp and proof photos. Entries are tamper-proof (only cancellations with justification are possible).

• Two types of inspection – monthly visual inspection by the operator and annual expert inspection, with each gate's due date automatically displayed (30 days / 365 days).

• Defects identified using a traffic light system – Green (monitor), Orange (safety-relevant: rectify), Red (decommission gate & secure against use) including repair note with name, timestamp, and photo.

• Gate inventory per object – gate type (sectional door, roller door/roller shutter, sliding gate, swing gate, high-speed door, barrier, etc.), drive, manufacturer, year of manufacture, dimensions, serial number, reference photo.

• PDF inspection report per object and period – including legal basis (DE/AT/CH), traffic light legend, gate inventory, defect list, and photo attachment. Ideal as proof of inspection for operators, clients, insurance companies, or authorities.

• Team – managed by the owner, employees document (invitation codes).

• Inspection reminder – local monthly notification.

Note: ToreDex documents inspections and deadlines. The annual inspection is carried out by a qualified person (expert); repairs are performed by a specialist company.
