GerüstDex transforms the legally required scaffold inspection according to the German Ordinance on Industrial Safety and Health (BetrSichV), TRBS 2121-1, and DGUV Information 201-011 into a 60-second workflow on your mobile phone – for scaffolders, roofers, painters, carpenters, facade installers, and construction companies.
Before its first use, every scaffold must be inspected and approved by a qualified person – and every user must inspect it before starting work (and always after renovations, storms, or extended periods of inactivity). In the event of an accident or a claim by the employers' liability insurance association (BG), only complete documentation for each scaffold counts. GerüstDex delivers exactly that:
Document each scaffold inspection using a 12-point checklist according to TRBS 2121-1 (marking/approval, foundations & base plates, anchoring, decking, 3-part side protection, access ladders, diagonals/bracing, wall clearance, corners/bridging, unauthorized modifications, electrical lines, and protection of third parties) with GPS stamp and photographic evidence. Inspection type selectable: daily visual inspection or inspection by a qualified person. Entries are tamper-proof (cancellation only with justification).
Defects are indicated using a traffic light system: Green (monitor), Orange (safety-relevant: rectify), Red (block scaffold - do not use!) including blockage status and repair note with name, timestamp, and photo.
Scaffolding inventory per construction site – scaffolding type (facade, modular, mobile, etc.), load and width class according to EN 12811-1, manufacturer, erection date, reference photo. Inspection deadlines for each scaffold are always visible.
PDF inspection report per construction site and period – including legal basis (DE/AT/CH), traffic light legend, defect list, and photo appendix. Ideal as proof of approval for safety coordinators, site management, insurance companies, and employers' liability insurance associations.
Team – managed by the owner, crew documented (invitation codes).
Inspection reminders – local weekly notifications.
