For your devices and items
• View your phone, tablet, headphones, and other accessories on a map–even if they’re offline.
• Play a sound to locate your lost device if it’s nearby.
• If you’ve lost a device, you can remotely secure or erase it. You can also add a custom message to display on the lock screen in case someone finds your device.
• All location data in the Find Hub network is encrypted. This location data is not visible even to Google.

For location sharing
• Share your live location to coordinate a meetup with a friend or check on family to make sure they got home safe.

It's a GREAT APP and it actually works just as described and it is very easy to use and it's very accurate. I love it! And I even installed it on my phones that didn't have it; I've installed it on every phone (that didn't have it installed on it already) that I've had since I found how great the app is. It's very useful, especially if you lose your phone or if it's stolen. The app has an optional LOUD alarm that you can set off remotely and stop at will. So all together I love this app! 😎 👍

Google Find My Device far surpasses the other device locating apps and software I've used. Apple's 'Find My', the Tile tracker (and others), just can't compete. The locating tone is louder and more distinct, the tracking capabilities are more versatile and extremely accurate, you can install and use the app from other devices, and best of all - it's straightforward and easy to use. I've been a loyal iPhone user for as long as I can remember, but lately, Google's got me questioning my loyalty!

works very well with my Mili tag duo. but had a recent issue with the tag not wanting to work anymore.. after a few days of messing around with hardware/software, I realized in the Google settings you can turn off 'save devices automatically" option to delete the bad data on device. THEN re-pair the device and it worked. so if anyone is having this problem, then try this solution. so, the app wasn't the problem as such but a silly setting in the Google phone options messing with my tag.
