I keep having to make copies of my own Drive files because the app(s) won't open them. The app will tell me I have to copy my recent edits and revert changes before I can edit. After that I'll get various error messages saying my Internet is bad (it isn't) or that I don't have permission (I made the file). I don't have problems accessing them on desktop, only through the app. Same problems with other Drive applications, like Docs and Sheets.

Nice for off phone storage and sharing files with other devices. No local direct access to files so everything is upload n download. Can no longer map a drive to it, big hassle. EDIT 6/5/26: Much better now. I'm able to map google drive to a lettered drive on my windows laptop, works just like a network drive. Nice touch and exactly what was needed. Thanks for the update.

I can't download folders to my gallery, instead I get error/failure messages when trying to down link my picture files. It only let's me download to my drive. And then it's a guessing game where the files ultimately end up. Once there I still can't send them to gallery. This is a very easy fix and should be seriously considered. Since I have 2 accounts, I never know which one the pictures will find their way to, let alone which folder. And getting them to my gallery is like getting pigs to fly.
