I don't understand why you hide the regular files app (com.android.documentsui.files.FilesActivity) that can access all the /Android files. This is total BS. I had to get a special app that is a shortcut to open the hidden files app. Why do you do this!!! It makes it so hard to access the folders we need to access to back up are device! This is so nuts!!! I'll give it 3 stars because it has some nice features even though it's very restrictive of the files/folders you can access.

I am going through the file cleanup process right now due to the full drive of my phone. The experience to clear the phone is tedious and slow. It offers suggestions which cannot be bulk selected and the process ends up being slow and serial (to free up a large amount of data takes many suggestions!) and at the end of the flow the app just exits, so you have to open the app back up each time and go through the next suggestion. Bad UX, file managers have been well understood for decades.

Google has the most efficient and cost effective ecosystem and with a Google phone in your hand you have the power to move mountains. The Google app "Files" is yet another example of "If you make, build, or create enough software, you only need to move forward to succeed". "Files" neither has the frills and maybe simple but it is so damn beautiful. Especially when you're linked to the greater part of the Google ecosystem!
