Ratings and reviews

Beta functionality like "practice" is a good direction! For many years, I thought about this. But I am really confused why practicing the English language is not available. I think even native English speakers can practice English. I would love to have a way to practice my saved English words (not useless or stupid words that many English-learning-apps force you to learn — but my own!). I hope you got the idea.

Not Accurate. I live in South Texas, and I don't think it takes into account different dialects. I had a maid that spoke no English, and I speak no Spanish. Google Translate helped, but unfortunately, couldn't convey directions. Explaining how I want something cleaned or what product to use got mangled. I have a grocery delivery coming soon, but it was unable to translate the word "si." Even I know it's "yes"! Instead, it just said "and." It wasn't until I realized it was using Translate!

I used to use this app all time on my iphone, and I recently switched to android and one thing is really annoying. The (new translation) button that used to be on the iPhone is not there anymore. when clicked, it empties the current translation and starts a new one. Simple as that. However, my Samsung S25 ultra doesn't have it. Since the phone has a huge screen, it is frustrating to reach to the top left corner to hit the X icon every single translation please fix this.
