I like the functionality of the ear buds in general, lightweight and the quality is great for what I need. BUT I need Google to bring back the standalone app. It seems like it's a small thing but it's not, it's actually very inconvenient and frustrating. Please also bring back the amount of charging case battery along with showing the info in the notification bar. I'm not the only one here asking this which begs the question: why, Google?

First let me say that the buds work great. This is my third pair of them (first pair left on a plane) 2nd pair I know I lost in either my office or gone but find my device doesn't work at all on my Samsung device (galaxy s23 plus). Which would've helped me when I lost my 2nd pair... I believe it has to do with the rollout of time line. Because the app says "turn on use location and location history" and inn the Google maps app I ah e time-line/location sharing permissions set to on with no luck

Top 3 earbuds - Pixel Buds, Bose QC II, Beats Pros: EQ Settings. Sound quality, fit, look, ease of use, connection. NC ok Cons: EQ shuts off every time I put earbuds on. In settings "Noise Cancellation" button is highlighted. I have to select "Off" then select "Noise Cancellation" for EQ settings to resume. Touch controls work well but issue is I only have Noise Cancellation and Off selected in the touch and hold section but it only switches between Off & Transparency, even if all 3 selected.
