Hold for Me lets you go back to your day. If a business puts you on hold, Google Assistant can wait on the line for you and let you know when someone is ready to talk.

Call Screen answers unknown callers, filters out detected spammers without interrupting you, and helps you learn more about callers you don’t recognize before you pick up.

Ratings and reviews

This is a good phone app, but I think some UI changes would really make it shine! The slider to answer incoming calls needs to be bigger in that the UI element has a small radius and it's tough to place my finger on if I'm moving. Also, the dial pad should be the first thing you see when you open the app and should be on the bottom tab bar, not as a floating button (which is also too small). The dial pad should also be taller. Otherwise, it is straightforward and has excellent functionality.

Does what it's supposed to do. Wish there were an option to not have a notification telling you that a spam call has been prevented. I'm never able to set up my visual voicemail, though I'm not sure if that's my tiny phone company's fault. Would be cool if it fostered connection by making it easy to set up reminders with various frequencies to contact your contacts. Otherwise 9.8/10. Love the ability to merge/clean up contacts, easily transfer them, etc.

I prefer this app to the preinstalled Samsung app. I like that it screens for Spam calls. The design is very sleek and attractive. The sound and call quality is better than my previous app. I like the feature that offers an active wallpaper for phone calls. But I don't receive my calls on time. Some of my calls are delayed by days or half an hour.When I end a call , a duplicate of the app appears, and I have to close two phone dial pad screens.

What's new

With our latest update to Call Screen on Pixel devices in the US, the Google Assistant now helps you automatically screen unknown callers and filter out detected robocalls before your phone ever rings. And when it’s not a robocall, your phone rings a few moments later with helpful context about who is calling and why.
