This app is subpar and definitely inferior. The geofence feature is why I bought this thermostat and it doesn't reliably work. When it fails to work properly I have to restart the phone uninstall and reinstall the app and reconfigure the Wi-Fi. It's annoying to have to do this frequently. It should be set up once and continue working in perpetuity. The app needs a serious overhaul so that it can deliver on the services it provides reliably. I would encourage customers to look for other services.

UPDATE: THIS APP NO LONGER FUNCTIONS AT ALL This app has one large, frustrating bug. When I turn off the passcode, it turns itself back on the next time I use the app. My phone is locked with biometrics, I have no need to enter a passcode every time I want to adjust my thermostat. The thermostat itself is great. I wish the accompanying app functioned better.

The app constantly becomes un-operable for seemingly no reason at all. You login just for it to sut at the login scheen indefinitely. Rendering the smart part of the thermostat useless for the reasons it was bought. A bit ridiculous to spend $350 on a thermostat your able to "control from your phone", only to never be able to control it from your phone. The app is trash.
