Safe and Sound is a digital platform developed by the Institute of Applied Medical Technology (IMT), connecting users with reputable psychologists and psychiatrists in Vietnam.
The Safe and Sound app supports optional connection with smart wearable devices (R12M series smart rings) to share health data (such as heart rate, sleep), supporting the consultation process with medical professionals. Note that this feature is optional and only works when connected to a smart ring; the app still functions with other features without a smart ring.
Key Features:
Self-Assessment Tool: Provides standardized psychological tests to help you monitor your personal emotional indicators (such as anxiety, mood). Note: Results are for reference only and are not medical diagnoses.
Online Consultation: Schedule and conduct video calls or live chats with verified psychologists.
AI Health Assistant: A virtual assistant that helps answer common questions about mental health knowledge and provides initial reference information.
Movement & Care Support: Guides you through gentle breathing and movement exercises to reduce stress.
Health Data Synchronization (Optional): If you have a compatible smart wearable device, you can choose to synchronize metrics such as heart rate and sleep to have additional reference data during consultations with a specialist.

- Medical Consultation: We use 'Microphone' and 'Media Playback' services to maintain stable audio/video calls and support Picture-in-Picture mode. This allows you to stay connected with your doctor even when the app is running in the background.
- Smart Ring Synchronization: We use a 'Connected Device' service type to maintain a continuous Bluetooth connection with your Smart Ring to synchronize health data in real time.
