Need 2 hour lead time? I just got off a six hour flight. I'll be at the hotel in 20 minutes. The app won't let me check in. Says it needs two hours to prepare for my visit. Not super useful. What is the point?
Simply worthless Can't log it. To be clear, it says my login is invalid. Funny, it's the same login I've always used and I stayed over 165 nights last year and on my way to do more this year. I know my login. You're invalid. Uninstalled. Like half of the customer service I get at Marriott hotels, completely useless.
Not Great - Android Version Hard to use with Strong Passwords I use strong passwords for all the sites I visit, in conjunction with a password manager. This app no longer allows me to paste a password into the password field. Since my password is a string of 20 random characters which is (deliberately) impossible to memorize, logging in is now practically impossible. (And please don't suggest that I just leave my account logged in all the time).
Terrible App! Why do I have to Login Every Time? Slow app. Have to Login with Rewards Number each time. Now app won't let me in saying there is a connection problem. Very unreliable and has very few useful features. Hard to believe Marriott would allow such a junk app. As a frequent traveler, we need working mobile apps. This one I would rate at zero stars. Fix it or I will use my Hilton App that works.
Marriott: thank you for paying attention to the reviews and fixing the issue! The app works much better!
It doesn't really work. For my latest visit, the app alerted me to check in, then told me the alert had expired. It then asked me to login, and as soon as I started typing in my username (just started, never finished typing) it logged me in automatically, and allowed me to check-in - wierd. The point us that this all took about 10 mins, as I had to look up my user-name and password first. Then I didn't get the alert that the room was ready - although it was. Finally, got the same 'alert expired' at check-out time, so I had to check out at the desk, which means I will have to wait until I get home to scan the bill. Also, based on previous experience, I never get the bill sent by e-mail, Ihave to phone to get another one sent, and last time I had to ask this 3 times before it finally arrived.
We know many of you have been experiencing log in issues since the last release. We’re happy to confirm that this bug and several others have been fixed with this update.
