This worked well for a couple of years. Recently, it has been disconnecting my phone and my desktop computer. No I cannot get the PhoneLink on my Windows 10 to create a QR code to reconnect it. I've searched for help online, but nothing is working. My laptop is still connected to my phone. I have loved being able to have the messages available wherever I am, and drag pictures, etc from my desktop to the SMS app. thanks.

To resolve this, first make sure Link To Windows is up to date and open it your phone. Click on your Microsoft account name under Linked Account. Go to Account Settings > Sign out and unlink account. On your PC, go to Phone Link > Settings > Devices > Add new device. Follow the on-screen steps to pair your Android mobile device with your PC.

It's a start. Buggy and distracting, connects perfectly when I don't want it to. (Edit) Contrary to popular belief Microsoft software doesn't seem to get better. It just either keeps being bad or it gets worse. The software tells me to update the connection several times a day and I often lose messages whenever they go to my pc. It also likes to send messages super late, hours after I've sent them on the PC.

You can drag and drop photos from phone to PC (extremely slowly), but it SCALES DOWN THE PHOTOS. I can't rate above two stars until that bug is fixed. Messaging works, but often the most recent ones don't float to the top. The fact that you need to allow permission to open apps or screen mirror EVERY TIME makes them essentially useless. If I'm picking up my phone, I'll just use my phone. You also can't leave feedback from the PC app, even though it says you can. Just use scrcpy.
