Onkyo remote This is crap. This app cannot find the receiver. This receiver works just fine using the internet from the hard remote. This is not worth your time. They just put this app out there so they can say they have an app, but they know they don't need to support it and it doesn't have to work because there's nothing you can do about it
Where's the Speaker A/B? Generally I do like the convenience of the app, but for the life of me I can't figure out why the speaker A/B selections are not available. It means I have to physically go to the unit and change it with the remote. Totally stupid. If it's in the app I haven't been able to find it.
No good Previous version worked pretty well, but since the last update it will not work at all, completely useless. Tried rebooting, reconnecting, running setup again, but nothing. Would give ZERO stars if I could.
Connection problems 1 out of 2 it cant find my receiver (fully updated tx-nr818). I can ping the ip, telnet to 60128 (network standby is on). But the app doesn't find it. When i manually turn the amp on, it does work. Please fix the app!!!
Work at first...now won't connect The app worked when first installed on TX-RZ610 now it finds the reciever but will not work at ALL. A huge inconvenience. Not what I paid for nor expectected from a $600+ reciever. Please fix this ASAP.
It seems to work Works as advertised, not the best interface but not bad. My receiver is connected via Ethernet, seems solid. Over wifi it was a bit flakier. Didn't connect reliably 100% of the time, I could always get it to connect after messing with it. But now that it's a wired connection to a switch it seems more reliable.
