The app was fine for like a month, now every time I go onto it the app says I'm "offline" and I can't access anything. I'm not offline, I'm on WiFi or data but for whatever reason the app doesn't recognize this so I have to go onto the browser and do everything manually. Also progressive cancelled my renters insurance after I paid my auto insurance fully. Not related to the app, but don't expect any communication on matters like that because I still have no clue why it happened.

Snapshot is very bad, though just as bad as every other one of these apps out there. It gave me 7 (!!) hard braking events for stopping for a red light. I guess it would rather me run a red light? As a result I lost a "star" and might get a higher rate. This does not increase safety nor is it accurately determining driver risk. To boot, Snapshot uses approximately 10% of your battery in a day.

Just received an email from Progressive saying they haven't received any driving data from my app in over 15 days. So I go to check out why the app isn't working and it won't even open. I cleared cache, double checked for any updates and restarted my phone. Still won't open. I see there was an update last month, wondering if this new update has anything to do with it? I don't want to lose my discounts due to a technical error that has nothing to do with me.
