After every app update there are less functioning features in the app. At one point everything connected but the app had almost nothing useful in it. Now I occasionally get Bluetooth to work, the probes show on the main screen but not analytical and forget having a wifi connection. Don't bother with the app and just run it from the controller on the smoker. At least they haven't broke that functionality yet

Originally I gave it a 1 ⭐️ rating due to its inability to connect to the grill. After disconnecting and reconnecting to the wifi it has been working great ever since. Cons - I don't like the"Price is Right" style wheel to select times and temps. Its too slow. Typing the time would be better. Instead scrolling.

I just opened the app, after having used it for the last year, and it required an update. The update has created an app that is now extremely slow to respond and the connectivity is now hit or miss. Before, I primarily used the wifi, as it was a better connection than the BT, but now neither gives me consistent connection. The smoker is about 20 feet to wifi main setup.I switched mid-smoke to a different wireless wifi probe system and that is solid. Too bad. It was nice to have an all-in-one.
