About this app

Relief is for people dealing with debt collectors — not just debt. Credit cards, personal loans, and some medical debt. If collectors are calling, sending letters, or threatening action, this is the app for that moment.

SILENCE THE CALLS

Relief drafts and delivers cease & desist letters to your collectors. Under the FDCPA, collectors may be required to stop certain communications after receiving your request. No confrontation. Just your rights in action.

CATCH COLLECTOR VIOLATIONS

Collector contacts may matter. Log calls, texts, and letters in the app and Relief helps identify potential FDCPA violations that may strengthen your position.

RESPOND TO LAWSUITS

Served with a debt collection lawsuit? Relief helps you understand response options, filing deadlines, and next steps so you're not caught off guard.

ASK THE AI DEBT ADVISOR

Not sure what to do next? Ask Relief’s AI Debt Advisor questions about collections, settlement offers, lawsuits, collector communication, and debt options. Get guidance based on your situation before moving forward.

SETTLE WHEN YOU'RE READY

When you're ready to resolve, Relief helps you understand available options and request savings on your terms.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Add your debt accounts and start monitoring
2. Cease & desist letters are drafted and delivered
3. Log collector contacts and track potential violations
4. Explore your available resolution options

YOUR MEMBERSHIP

One flat monthly membership. Support starts from day one.

FAQ

What is the FDCPA? The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act is a federal law that limits how debt collectors can communicate and collect. Relief is designed to help users understand and act on those protections.

Will this affect my credit score? Relief uses a soft pull only. No credit impact to get started.*

Who is Relief for? People dealing with unsecured debt in collections (90+ days overdue). Eligibility requirements apply.

DISCLOSURES

Relief is not a law firm and does not provide legal, financial, tax, or credit advice.

The AI Debt Advisor provides informational guidance only and may not reflect all available options.

Cease & desist requests and collector protections depend on applicable law and may not stop all communications.

Potential collector violations identified in the app do not guarantee compensation or legal outcomes.

Debt reduction estimates are not guaranteed. Results vary by creditor, account status, eligibility, and user circumstances. Creditor review may take up to 60 days or longer.

Soft credit checks do not impact your credit score. If you enter into and complete an agreed debt reduction arrangement, creditors may report the account as settled for less than the full balance.

I signed up for the waitlist a couple years ago under the assumption that any referral credits would help pay down my debt. I finally got to download the app only to find out the $350 I earned in credit can only be used if I was 60 days late, and had a minimum balance on the cards of $500. This was not mentioned when I signed up for the waitlist. Basically, you have to put yourself in the hole to receive any help. I apologize to everyone I referred. Very misleading and disappointing.

I started my application and when I pulled up the app again to finish completing it the app just was frozen basically at one of the very last questions i had to answer.

It seems like a handy app and I like what it's showed me so far but I want to focus on the credit card accounts that I have not defaulted on rather than those in collections. I will probably cancel the app if it doesn't focus on my credit card accounts that I still have open.
