UPDATE: So I found a response offered to someone else with the same problem. It turns out that there are TWO apps - one for Western Canada and one for Eastern Canada. I had the wrong one. Why isn't this explained in the store and the login page? So, you haven't heard of pre-release testing at all? I downloaded it because I wanted to troubleshoot some issues with my home wifi and I was hoping it was updated. Nope. It definitely loops the login sequence. Over and over and over. Literally useless.

Pointless and frustrating!! I set up my xfinity internet a week ago. Without the app, the wifi signal keeps disappearing, changing names and passwords. I downloaded the app, but I couldn't log in without creating a website account. When I tried to create the account, it said I had to call a number. When I called the number, it said I had to enter my phone number to proceed. I tried again and again, and it just kept telling me to enter my phone number. I tried for a person; they hung up.

USELESS!!! It's a shame for a Communication Business to have an App in this condition over time. I'm not able to login because when I hit the Sign in Button it jumps back to the previous screen. And the worst thing is that many users over the last time complained the same problem. It's one of those ways to loose customers.
