Using your Network access permissions, the My Shaw app will:
• View connection information and see available Wi-Fi connections to enable the app to connect to the Wi-Fi network;
• Detect the network state, read the device status, detect running apps, view app history and identity to implement network preference.

Using your Photo/Media/Files and Storage permissions, the My Shaw app will:
• Enable you to view a PDF of your bill
• Test access to protected storage for the purpose of facilitating user data retrieval and use of content for registered devices to facilitate technical assistance should network access be denied and to increase the application productivity.

Using the Prevent Device from Sleeping permission, the My Shaw app will:
• Enable push notifications used during Support Chats

Using your device’s fingerprint scanner, the My Shaw app will:
• Link your fingerprint profile to your Shaw account via the app for authentication purposes

Using your Notifications permission, the My Shaw app will:
• Send relevant push notifications

Using your first name and postal code, the My Shaw app will:
• send you push notifications

Using the payment extension request, the My Shaw app will:
• Send you an email confirmation

Slowest app I have ever seen, if it works. It takes forever to sign in, load a page, or do ANYTHING. That is, if it even works at all. It is a total and complete waste of time and space. It was rated a 1 star simply because there was no lower score possible. And with the comments and overall rating of 1.6 its obviously a know issue to Shaw. And we see the level of concern. And that would be a fine indicator of why, coupled with the massive overcharging, its time to get rid of Shaw.

It used to work just fine with the odd hiccup. For past 2-3 months, unable to login using either the app OR their website. Been trying to pay my bill but I guess they don't want my money and are happy to supply free services. If you want a business that clearly doesn't want yours, choose Shaw!Update: I can log in fine to their support network, but anything related to billing is unresponsive/not working. This goes for their website, app and e-mail links. They really don't want your money 🤷‍♂️

My entire experience with SHAW has been amazing. They have changed entirely. They are wonderful now. So great to deal with. EVERYTHING ABOUT THEM HAS BEEN 5 STAR! Service, technicians, customer service, apps, everything. Even pricing. And if I have a problem, they comp me every time, no questions asked. They rock!
