A few years ago, I wrote an email to the Albertsons app developers. I was frustrated with how poorly the app worked. I told them they needed to contact Fry's/Kroger to learn how to make a better app. Now the Albertsons app is superior compared to Fry's. I like that I can easily zoom in and see sale items and prices. The coupons are easy to clip most of the time. Occasionally, a sale item won't be found in the deals section because it's clustered with another sale item in the app.

I really enjoy using the Albertsons app because it makes browsing so simple and convenient. I have to say, Albertsons has one of the best bakeries around — cakes, danishes, cupcakes, ice cream cakes, donuts — everything is consistently fresh and delicious. The app lets me explore all their bakery options ahead of time, so I can decide on my next treat without standing in the aisle trying to choose. It’s easy, efficient, and genuinely enhances my shopping experience.

The app consistently crashes. When searching for a single select item, the search engine generates an error message. Currently, after the update the app doesn't load properly when shopping the sale pages. The app is also not syncing with the store properly. Items available on the app end up not being available in store after completing the cart. The shoppers aren't always the best at substitution in return causing us to lose the sale prices often. Its rather frustrating.

What’s new
