About this app

The Galaxy Buds FE Manager allows you to use features such as device settings and status view when connected to a Galaxy Buds FE device.

This application does not work alone because this is a component of the Galaxy Wearable application.

The Galaxy Wearable application has to be installed first for the Galaxy Buds FE Manager application to operate normally.

The following permissions are required for the app service. For optional permissions, the default functionality of the service is turned on, but not allowed.

- Notifications : Purpose for confirming voice notification function
- Contacts : Purpose for confirming Contacts information for voice notification function
- Phone : Purpose for confirming Contacts information for voice notification function
- Calendar : Purpose for checking Calendar information for using voice notification function
- Call logs : Purpose for confirming Call logs information for voice notification function
- Nearby devices : Purpose for confirming to search Buds Devices

[Optional Permissions]

Previously allowed permissions can be reset on Apps menu in device settings after software update.

Ratings and reviews

Labs feature is present for the normal wear app, but not for the FE. This feature is shown in the images but is not part of this apps features. The Labs allows one additional control that used to be present with the other buds, edge tap volume control. That was an awesome feature and it stinks to have new earbuds that don't have it. There's a similar issue with ambient sound volume (you could change the volume of ambient sound in older models)

Is there really no way to adjust the volume using the touchpad?!? What an oversight! All prior models have the "Labs" option so one can double tap the touchpad edge on either side to increase/decrease the volume, respectively. Please allow this and fix this glaring omission! Thank you. Btw I don't want to sacrifice my "double tap to skip" functionality.

Was forced to get this app along with a SECOND app to make some adjustments to my earbuds (because they are currently committed to picking up every single crispy piece of background nose and amplifying it). The app is glitchy and makes you give it a million permission to use it. I just want my earbuds to earbud. It shouldn't be this hard.
